The 611 chair was designed by the Finnish designer Alvar Aalto in 1929, whose designs have lost none of their Nordic charm to this day. As one of the first modern furniture designs by the Finn, the chair 611 has been in constant production since its creation and is today produced and distributed by Artek.

A seat and backrest made of woven linen fabric give the chair its unmistakable appearance, which is reminiscent of traditional weaving techniques. Together with the straight-lined frame made of light birch wood, the chair convinces with its natural, high-quality shape, which blends perfectly into any ambience.

Stackable wooden chair

Whether placed in groups at the dining table at home, arranged individually in the corridor or used in public facilities such as cafés or in the contract sector, this classic convinces with its visual appearance and comfort. Functional aspects were also taken into account with the chair: up to four of its kind can be easily stacked and, if necessary, stowed away in a space-saving manner.
