Ceramic money box in Finnish tradition
The Pauper ceramic money box from Artek is inspired by an old Finnish tradition where a wooden statue of a beggar is placed in front of a church to raise money for the poor. For COMPANY, the beggar reminds us of the Kaamos, the polar night, the darkest and coldest time of the year when the weakest need help most urgently.
The Pauper money box belongs to a family of handmade ceramic objects designed by COMPANY for Artek’s FIN/JPN Friendship collection.
