The N65 children’s chair appears in the typical design of Alvar Aalto: with its round seat and L-shaped legs, it fits perfectly into the design language of the Finnish design legend. Due to the combination of natural materials with clear, simple shapes, the designs of the Finn still look modern today.

Of course, Aalto did not only have the beautiful form in mind when he designed the model for the children’s chair – the chair 65: As an architect, the Finn always thought about the construction and the practical use. Originally, the Chair 65 was designed for the library in Vyborg, which is why the seating furniture also excellently fulfils practical demands in terms of ergonomics and durability.

Artek manufactures the N65 children’s chair from lacquered birch veneer. The four-legged chair is also available with a black linoleum seat, white laminate seat and with a seat in a child-friendly Moomin design. The NE60 children’s stool and the 90B children’s table go particularly well with the chair from Artek , as all three have Aalto’s clear and harmonious signature.
