Artek’s Bank 153 is light, versatile and at home in both the public and private sectors. The seat is made of solid birch wood and has vertical recesses that make the bench light and easy to move. The 153 bench combines strength with the warm organic properties of the Finnish birch and fits naturally with other members of Artek’s L-leg family.

With L-leg system from Alvar Aalto

Thanks to Alvar Aalto’s groundbreaking L-leg system, the legs can be mounted directly on the seat without the need for complicated fasteners. Designed in 1945 by Alvar Aalto, Bench 153 is a late and popular addition to the L-leg collection.

Light and strong, the bench can also be used as a presentation surface and is particularly decorative and practical in the entrance area, bedroom or living room. The bench is available in different versions and colours.
