Designer Anders Nørgaard created Luna – a flexible candleholder that adapts to the wishes of the user. With this object, Danish manufacturer Applicata presents – in typical Nordic style – a minimalist design object that focuses on functionality and adaptability. The fine workmanship of the wood and the brass elements give the candleholder an elegant character.

Luna – a Candleholder with Many Faces

Luna consists of an oak wood tray and four candleholders. The candleholders are flexibly moved, removed and attached around the tray. The flexibility of the candleholder offers numerous usage possibilities. Use it for four candles during the Advent season and decorate the tray with fir, nuts and apples. Throughout the rest of the year, the candleholder also looks great with simple one or two candles. Use the round tray as a deposit for fruit or small objects. Depending on your decoration, the Luna will always show a different face.

Designer Anders Nørgaard was inspired by the night sky for his Luna Candleholder: Volatile and impressive with the moon in the centre and sparking stars surrounding it – sometimes more and sometimes less. It was his intention to design a candleholder that is usable throughout the whole year and has an individual appearance.
